From roofing worker to trusted specialist
Sunshine Sky Aluminum started the way most good businesses do, with someone willing to outwork everyone around them. Our founder came to Vancouver from China with a clear purpose: build a life, build a family, and build something lasting.
He started at the bottom of the trades, working as a roofing labourer and learning every corner of the craft from the ground up.
Over the years he developed a deep understanding of what separates work that lasts from work that doesn't — and it always came back to the quality of the materials and the care put into the installation.
That philosophy is why we specialize exclusively in aluminum. Not because it's the cheapest option — it isn't — but because it's the right one for BC's climate. No rust. No rot. No callbacks. Just work that holds up for decades and lets our customers get on with their lives.
Today Sunshine Sky Aluminum serves homeowners and commercial clients across Vancouver and the Lower Mainland, with a small crew that shares the same standard the business was built on.
